Another lovely sky view… this time in the afternoon as a cold front is trying to make its way east. The picture does NOT do this mighty cloud justice. As I stood and watched, I could see the “boiling” motion of the cloud as the convection currents carried the moist air higher into the atmosphere. Mesmerizing!
Mornings are not usually my thing. I need at least 2 giant cups of coffee before things start to make any kind of sense and I become aware of my wider surroundings.
This kind of view makes the night-to-day transition a little easier, though. Thought I’d share it with you today.
Catch that waning crescent moon in the center of the picture? And how about those pastel colors? Pretty spiffy! It’s what I call a soft sky. Great way to start the day!
